Who reads onthinktanks.org?
I had a look at a new feature in WordPress that lets me see where are the readers of onthinktanks based. Here is the result (since February 2012):
I was quite happy to find a good regional coverage but a bit disappointed that the proportion of readers from the US and Europe was so high relative to that from developing countries. I have noticed, though, that whenever I post from a particular country I get more hits from that country and region.
Having said that I know that this ‘northern’ dominance in readership reflects more web usage so it is not that surprising.
Still, are you based in any of the countries in grey? Do you know anyone there? Do you know any think tanks there? Do get in touch. I would like to find out what may be relevant to you/them or how to make sure future posts capture your/their interest and attention.
