A new face for On Think Tanks

31 January 2016

Thanks to Soapbox we have been busy over the last several months working on migrating all our content to a new website, which we launch today in beta version.

The new site allows us to feature content more effectively, produce series and other digital materials and offer new services (a jobs board, for example).

If you have subscribed by email, Facebook or Twitter then you should not have to worry about getting your On Think Tanks fix… and we have been working to make sure that all those signed up using WordPress reader come along with us to our new home.

We hope that this new platform makes it easier for the think tank community to get involved.

The new site allows users to submit think tank related jobs and events. All our authors also now have their own page. We will be able to manage initiatives (such as The On Think Tanks Exchange or the Think Tanks Data Visualisation Competition) from the site (but with their own spaces) – so if you have an initiative (for think tanks) and are looking for a host, please do get in touch.

Our events section will turn into a School of Think Tanks of sorts offering a broad range of courses and webinars for thinktankers and their supporters.

The jobs board is particularly useful. On Think Tanks is often asked to post calls for candidates. Now we will be able to offer a better service to our readers and partners.

But most of all, we will have a section dedicated to series. These will be edited and standalone digital products that will provide the reader with in-depth analysis on key issues, regions and countries. And you will be able to help us produce them.
