A central reasons for getting together in Indonesia was to give the teams the opportunity to work on their projects. This was, therefore, the first time they were able to do so since their proposals were accepted.

Each team presented and outline of their projects and then began work on them. The Performance Self-Assessment of Think Tanks (PSATT) team had the opportunity to learn about the tools being used by the Knowledge Sector Initiative in Indonesia. Members of the KSI shared the assessment tools they have developed for Indonesian think tanks.

Later, we all went to dinner hosted by Article 33. These social events have turned out to be powerful ways to strengthen the relationship between the participants. They offer a chance to talk, candidly, about each other’s countries, work, and even about more personal aspects of their lives.
