From Energy Access to Economic Transformation: Practical Policy Pathways for Power Sector Viability, Growth, and Reform
The 2026 Africa Think Tank Summit is coming to Cotonou, Benin | October 28–30, 2026.
Co-hosted by the Government of Benin and organised by the African Capacity Building Foundation with the African Union Commission, this Summit will bring together African think tanks, policymakers, development partners, private sector leaders, investors, regulators, and energy experts.
Key partners include World Bank Group, African Development Bank, AUDA-NEPAD, United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, African School of Regulation, Africa Europe Foundation, WINGS, FAGACE, and ACED.
Through high-level keynotes, ministerial dialogues, panel discussions, side-events, and interactive breakout sessions, participants will explore solutions on energy financing, utility reform, regional power integration, and translating policy commitments into implementation, turning energy access into real economic transformation.
Highlights will include a ministerial roundtable, ATTP research showcase, training sessions on power sector reform, and an innovation exhibition featuring cutting-edge energy solutions from across the continent.
