The nonpartisan Migration Policy Institute seeks to improve immigration and integration policies through authoritative research and analysis, opportunities for learning and dialogue, and the development of new ideas to address complex policy questions.

The role

The successful Communications Coordinator candidate will join a fast-paced, effective communications team dedicated to advancing MPI’s ideas, research, data, and analysis to key audiences in the U.S. and internationally.

Key roles and responsibilities

The Communications Coordinator will be responsible for the layout and design of MPI publications, infographics, social media visuals, and marketing materials; manage MPI’s mailing database; edit podcasts and other multimedia content; gather and analyze web stats and downloads using Google Analytics and other sources; supervise an intern in tracking and logging media appearances and building weekly clips package; assist in social media campaigns, website management, and other dissemination activities; and perform other communications activities, including event support and monitoring of MPI public email inboxes.

Experience and skills

Bachelor’s degree with 2 years experience.
