The RSA is looking for an experienced, creative and collaborative Head of Partnerships to lead the development of its relationships with trusts, corporates, statutory bodies and major donors.
This person will be responsible for delivering the business development strategy and sustaining funding partnerships to deliver on the RSA’s organisational goals. They will lead and motivate a small and busy team to develop and maintain relationships with trusts and foundations, corporates, statutory bodies and major donors. Working with colleagues across the organisation, they will design new, fundable programmes of work. The post-holder will represent the team internally and externally, and be accountable for reporting strategic progress to the Executive Team and trustees.
The ideal candidate will bring with them significant experience of developing and delivering strategies to build sustainable relationships with a variety of funders. They will have a creative and collaborative approach to the design of new programmes and have a strong track record in securing major, multi-year partnerships to support these. A positive and motivational team leader, they will support their team to achieve ambitious funding targets. The ideal candidate will balance an ability to develop excellent relationships with the commercial nous to strategically prioritise leads. Passionate about the work of the RSA to achieve social change, they will ideally bring subject expertise in public service innovation, combatting economic inequality, social design or another key area of RSA work.
