The RSA Events Programme is a powerful public resource, bringing important social, cultural, political and economic issues to a global audience, featuring world-class speakers and stimulating rich debate on the most urgent challenges facing society. We are the team behind the award-winning RSA Animates and RSA Shorts series, and our event videos, podcasts and animations are followed by over 730,000 YouTube subscribers.

The role

In this role, you’ll take responsibility for end-to-end production of a wide range of events, as well as for researching and developing new content and new formats for public engagement.

Key roles and responsibilities

You will independently generate and deliver events as part of a popular weekly lunchtime series of topical talks and panel discussions, as well as ad hoc additional events to support and promote the latest research insights, policy reports and project launches from the RSA’s Research & Impact programme teams.

Experience and skills

We are looking for someone who is engaged in and excited by contemporary culture, politics, current affairs and ideas. You’ll have excellent writing, research and editorial skills as well as an eye for fresh developments in social media and the fast-moving online ideas landscape. You’ll be a natural communicator with strong administrative, logistical and people skills and an affinity for the RSA’s mission and values. You’ll have a keen interest in the RSA’s key research programmes, and an awareness of the relevant current public and policy debates in these areas.
