OTT is conducting a donor mapping exercise to support Transparency International’s resource mobilisation efforts across Asia-Pacific, as part of the IPP STRONGG Phase II programme, a multi-country initiative that strengthens civil society’s role in advancing accountability and anti-corruption work in more than 14 countries in the region. As ODA cuts and restrictions on civic space intensify, ensuring the financial sustainability of TI’s national chapters has become increasingly critical. This project will produce a practical and strategic donor mapping report that identifies key national, regional, and international funding sources, including established institutional donors and lesser-known actors such as emerging philanthropies, regional foundations, impact investors, and blended finance initiatives. The work will also assess the potential of individual and grassroots giving as an avenue for diversifying funding. Drawing on desk research, stakeholder consultations, and key informant interviews, OTT will analyse funding trends and donor behaviour across the Asia-Pacific context and translate these findings into actionable, country-level and regional fundraising recommendations for TI and its chapters, covering up to 12 countries.
