The Open Society Foundations (OSF) asked OTT to collaborate with them in a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) partnership. OTT’s role was to lead the work on MEL, which meant developing a MEL framework for Initiatives and individual initiatives and creating the tools and mechanisms for data collection at both the Initiatives unit and individual initiatives levels. Initiatives include: Democratic Renewal, Debt and China in the World.
We did this in the most collaborative way possible to create structures that were fit for purpose and aligned with the teams’ capacity for data collection. OSF aimed to learn from the interventions, adapt them using useful evidence, and document and communicate progress or impact.
