OTT is developing a structured partnership with the European Climate Foundation to strengthen the capacity of think tanks in ECF’s grantee portfolio. The collaboration combines three interlocking components. First, a consulting offer through which OTT provides senior advisory support to think tanks paired with ECF consultants, offering expertise across organisational strategy, communications, finance, and operations. Second, a platform component through which ECF funds OTT membership for approximately 27 individuals across grantee organisations and ECF staff, giving them access to OTT’s newsletter, masterclasses, resources, and community of practice. Third, a learning component including a bespoke 3-day online course tailored to younger and smaller think tanks in the ECF portfolio, to be delivered in cohorts of approximately 20 participants and combining synchronous sessions with asynchronous content. Additional elements include supporting ECF grantees to update their profiles in the Open Think Tank Directory and piloting an ECF-focused edition of OTT’s State of the Sector Report to help ECF monitor and benchmark its portfolio.
