The mission of the Programme and Analytical Centre for European Law is to support the efforts of Bulgaria in the process of accession to the European Union through harmonization of national legislation with the Community law. At the same time, PACEL is not limited to the EU dimensions of legal reform in Bulgaria. Models and practices of countries outside the EU are researched and promoted.
