Centre for Economic Strategy (CES) is an independent, non-governmental think tank based in Kyiv, Ukraine, working primarily at the national level with strong engagement in European and international policy discussions. Founded in 2015, CES focuses on advancing economic reforms that support sustainable and inclusive economic growth in Ukraine. CES specialises in economic policy research across key areas including macroeconomics, public finance, business environment, human capital, labour markets, European integration, and the wartime economy. The organisation produces regular analytical outputs, including monthly monitoring of Ukraine’s economic developments during the full-scale war, as well as policy briefs, datasets, and public reports. The think tank combines rigorous research with practical policy engagement. Its work includes evidence-based policy analysis, development of actionable recommendations, and advocacy for institutional reforms.
