The CISR was founded in 2022 as a unit within the YSU Department of Sociology. It aims to promote the advancement of knowledge-based, scientific research in the social sciences and humanities in Armenia. The main activity areas of the Center include the implementation of scientific-educational programmes; planning and coordinating research projects; processing and analysing research results.
