The IMAL Initiative for Climate and Development (IMAL) is the first independent non-profit North African climate think-tank — based in Morocco and with African, Arab, and Mediterranean perspectives. The think-tank aims to serve African and Arab countries by supporting the transition to a green economy and lasting multidimensional resilience. The Initiative's work spans four main programmes: Green Economy, Resilience, Diplomacy & Cooperation, and Finance & Investment. The Initiative aims to make a difference by working with partners to deliver strategic interventions in research, engagement, and advice that inform actors across public policy, civil society, subnational entities, and the private and financial sectors.
