The Emirates Center for Happiness Research (ECHR) is a research hub at the United Arab Emirates University. The university is also home to the Zayed Bin Sultan Center for Health Sciences. ECHR engages in evidence-based research, capacity building and consultancy services. Its research is aimed at providing evidence-based and implementable measures to enhance happiness and wellbeing and address the factors affecting them.
