The Middle East Studies Center (MESC) is an independent scientific institution founded in Amman in 1991. It specialises in conducting research studies, consultations, seminars and conferences relating to the Middle Eastern region. MESC makes efforts to study regional conflicts, peace processes and transformations in the Arab and Islamic regions. It considers political, social, economic and cultural perspectives when studying the role of the Middle East in the international system and international relations.
