The Asian Growth Research Institute (AGI), formerly known as the International Centre for the Study of East Asian Development (ICSEAD), is a research institute and think tank that studies Asia's economy and society. The Institute aims to contribute to knowledge and understanding of development issues in Asia and encourage international cooperation. To attain these goals it conducts research on economic and social issues in Asia and promotes international academic exchanges.
