The Asian Forum Japan (AFJ) is a nonprofit think tank that specializes in developing foreign and national security policies, with a general focus on the Asia-Pacific region and a particular one on Japan, the US and China. In making its policy proposals AFJ places great importance on the domestic politics of the countries it analyzes.
