The International Institute of Economics and Labor goes back to the Kansai Labor Research Council, which was formed after the war in 1948. Currently, the Institute of International Economics and Labor is working for the present and the future as a think tank specializing in trade unions jointly participated and operated by academic societies, industry, the labor world, and public bodies in order to create new wisdom in turbulent times over the centuries.
