China Institute for Educational Finance Research is a think tank and capacity building base in the field of educational finance. The institute advises local government on educational finance policies and acts as a reference for educational stakeholders. The institute also promotes educational finance and public finance reform. It is a cooperation between governmental departments and Peking University. It mainly undertakes government commissioned projects.
