The Development Research Center of Guangdong is the research center of the Guangdong Provincial Government. It serves to research and to provide policy recommendations on the social and economic development of the province. It is also responsible for data collection and analysis of inter-regional relations and development with Macao, Hong Kong and Taiwan. The center also does some procurement for the provincial government.
