The Korea Institute of Public Administration (KIPA) is a government-sponsored research institute in South Korea, established in October 1991. The Institute conducts research on current and historical issues on public policy. KIPA’s mission is to systematically research all matters related to the development of an overall administrative system and the improvement of administrative operation in social and human sciences. It is also to collect and manage information and data related to administration and aims to contribute to national administrative development by promoting an exchange of information among domestic and overseas research institutes.
