The A. Gary Anderson Center for Economic Research provides data, facilities, and support to encourage faculty and students to engage in economic research of high quality and to widely disseminate the results. The A. Gary Anderson Center for Economic Research (ACER) was established in 1979 to provide data, facilities, and support in order to encourage the faculty and students at Chapman University to engage in economic and business research of high quality and to disseminate the results of this research to local communities. In 1981 an Advisory Board of the Anderson Center for Economic Research was formed to provide input on a continuous basis on various research projects conducted by the Center. The Board consists of individuals who have a particular interest and expertise in economic research relating to the regional economy.
