The Amnesty International Korea is part of the AI global movement that aims to put an end injustice and to campaign for the promotion of human rights. The organization is independent of any political ideology, economic interest or religion. It obtains its funding from donations from members and advocates. AI Korea conducts investigations and expose facts on abuses and lobby governments and powerful groups to ensure adherence to human rights law. The organization conducts trainings and publishes reports to campaign for change and to stand in defense of activists on the frontline.
