Environmental Centre for Administration and Technology (ECAT Lithuania) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization, established in 1997. Its mission is to integrate environmental concerns into the society, to contribute to common welfare and improve the quality of life through practical and sustainable solutions. ECAT is the leading organisation in Lithuania specialising on sustainable development policy at local level. It works on waste management, public environmental education, water preservation, air pollution, climate change, noise, corporate social responsibility and sustainable consumption. ECAT prepares and implements projects, educate and consult on various questions of environmental protection, promote activities of environment control in the municipalities of Lithuania.
