The Rural Policy Institute (RPI) at The W. A. Franke College of Business, established in 2006, is one of three units of the Alliance Bank Business Outreach Center that comprise the University Center, authorized and funded in part by the U.S. Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration (EDA). RPI publishes research outcomes in policy reports for local, regional, and statewide dissemination and provides technical assistance to communities for policy implementation.
