The Brussels Interdisciplinary Research centre for Migration and Minorities is a recognised Centre of Expertise at the Vrije Universoty Brussels (VUB) bringing together over 100 researchers from 11 disciplines. The Centre aims to increase the visibility of VUB research on questions relating migration and minorities. It will develop and support interdisciplinary research projects in these fields. The Centre also stimulates networking among the VUB research groups and of VUB researchers in international and local networks. The research orientation is international yet particular attention is paid to the dynamics in Brussels and Belgium.
