The Cameroon Economic Policy Institute (CEPI) is improving economic development through fact-based research, policy advocacy, and training t boost entrepreneurship and free market ideals. Created in 2023, they implement programs that support the AfCFTA implementation, support private-sector-led development, and work with local and international organisations to unlock climate finance. Their research areas include trade, agriculture, climate finance, gender, fiscal, and monetary policy. They have two verifiable policy wins: lowering VAT on locally made flour and prompting policymakers to publish all export and import procedures in Cameroon.
