The Canadian Research Data Centre Network (CRDCN) is a partnership between a consortium of Canadian universities and Statistics Canada, through its Research Data Centre Program, to provide university, government and other approved researchers ready access to a vast array of social, economic and health confidential microdata in secure computer facilities located on university campuses across the country.

A consortium of Canadian universities and Statistics Canada. he central management team is led by the Executive Director under the supervision of the Board of Directors and in consultation with the Academic Council (composed of all the centres and branches). At the local level, each centre or branch has an Academic Director, generally a faculty member of the university. Through its Research Data Centre Program, Statistics Canada manages the analysts working in the RDCs. Research associates are considered the academic directors from the universities and sttaf in charge of research data centres of Statistics Canada.
