Carbon Market Watch is a not-for-profit association specialising in policy work on carbon pricing. It uses evidence-based advocacy to improve climate policies, turning complex issues into comprehensible messages, and helping people understand and influence those policies. It was initially known as Clean Development Mechanism Watch (CDM Watch) in 2009, when it was a programme under the UN’s Kyoto Protocol. In 2012, it was established as a not-for-profit association named Carbon Market Watch.
