The Center for International Environment and Resource Policy (CIERP) conducts scholarly and policy-relevant research on today’s environmental and resource challenges. It analyzes critical global environmental problems through an interdisciplinary approach, and identifies underlying scientific, social, economic, and technological dimensions of these issues. CIERP also studies the structure and evolution of international environmental negotiations and analyzes them within a larger context of consensus building and mutual gains. The Center was established in 1992 at The Fletcher School, Tufts University.
