Centre de Recherche en économie de l’Environnement, de l’Agroalimentaire, des Transports et de l’Énergie

CREATE is recognized as a research center by the Research Commission at Laval University. It was born out of a fusion of three groups of researchers at Laval University: the Center for Research in Agri-Food Economics (CRÉA, founded in 1997), the Research Group in Economics of Energy, the Environment and natural resources (GREEN, founded in 1973) and the Transport Data and Analysis Center (CDAT, founded in 1997). CREATE is made up of two research axes: the Economic Challenges of Sustainable Development axis and the Institutions, Markets and Public Actions axis . Within these axes, CREATE researchers are particularly, but not exclusively, interested in the themes of Environment and Energy ,  Agri-food and Transport .
