The Centre for South Asian Studies (CSAS) is an independent, non-political, secular think tank based in Kathmandu, Nepal. It organises conferences and conducts research in areas of South Asian regional cooperation, peace and conflict in South Asia, small arms proliferation, migration, gender empowerment, climate change, trade and connectivity, and strategic issues concerning South Asian countries as well as Nepal's conduct of international relations.
