The centre has been a pioneer in opening a line of research between national agriculture and the Environment, in order to help in the process of adapting our agriculture to a new environmental, climatic and commercial scenario, with growing demands in terms of conditioning factors. environmental aspects of trade in agricultural products such as: low carbon production, safe products, hydro-efficient and eco-efficient products.
