The Centre for Educational Studies is an institution of scientific research in education that seeks knowledge as a means for the transformation of reality towards a horizon of justice, freedom, and dignity for all. It has addressed a great diversity of issues and problems of different populations, always aiming to ensure that the right of the poorest to education and to reduce the educational inequality that reproduces, accentuates, and perpetuates social inequality, taking full advantage of the potential of education as an instrument of individual, social, and cultural change.
