Founded in 1988, Cemefi is a community of agencies, organisations and people committed to generating just social change in a collaborative manner. It functions as a civil society organisation or a private non-lucrative institution with no affiliation to a political party, race or religion. Its purpose is to enable and activate citizen responsibility to generate social value. It has various areas, such as the newly created Thinking Hub to develop strategic links. This hub carries out qualitative and quantitate research, incubates ideas, and facilitates dialogue spaces for topics of interest to the philanthropy environment in Mexico, Latin America and global networks.
