The Collaborating Centre on Sustainable Consumption and Production (CSCP), based in Wuppertal, Germany, was founded in 2005 as a joint spin-off from the Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment and Energy and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). Its founding objective was to be a visible institution for scientific Research, Advisory and Transfer activities on the subject of Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP). As a not-for-profit “Think and Do Tank”, CSCP supports businesses in national and international projects to develop sustainability strategies as well as implementing sustainable innovations in their products and services.
