Consorcio de Investigación Económica y Social

The Economic and Social Research Consortium (CIES) is an association of 48 Peruvian institutions dedicated to research and teaching in economic, environmental and social sciences. Its objective is to contribute to the development of the country, raising the level of national debate on key economic, social and environmental policy options. It also aims to strengthen the Peruvian academic community to be better able to produce and disseminate useful knowledge for analysts and decision makers in the public sector, civil society, the media, private enterprise and international cooperation.
