The Consortium for Economic and Social Research is a research center created in 2004 by a group of teachers and researchers from various disciplines (Economic, Law, and Sociology) of Cheikh Anta Diop University of Dakar. The initiative aims at responding to the needs of African market for high-level skills on national policy issues and major programs currently under development. CRES activities are: (i) design and implementation of research and study programs; (ii) conducting researches and studies that can contribute to the development, monitoring and assessment of economic and social policies; (iii) development of training modules; (iv) organization of various scientific events (v) publication of its research results.
