DEAR Africa is a non-profit organisation that engages in policy advocacy work and supports communities in Africa to create an inclusive and just society. Its mission is to mainly support women, children and families in order to assist these groups to rebuild their lives free from fear and violence. In order to deliver its mission, DEAR Africa promotes social inclusion and livelihood enhancement by advancing women and child protection and promoting socio-economic rights through intensive legislative and policy advocacy. The thematic areas of its work are education, health, food security and sustainable environment.
