Economic research institute for trade (ERIT) was founded in 1999 and is the first purely economic research unit within the Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MOIC). ERIT provides economic advices to the Minister and other departments, and offers various training programs. It is funded by government and international aids under bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Ministry and the international donors.
