Economics Institute was founded in 1947 and has continuously lasted for almost seven decades. It combines tradition, resources and references of the two institutes: Economics Institute and Institute of Industrial Economics. Their integration, back in 1989, resulted in the present-day Economics Institute, accredited since 2007 as a research institute for conducting scientific research activities of common interest.
