The mission of FLACSO is to ensure the training of specialists in social sciences through postgraduate courses, research in the area of social sciences on issues related to Latin American and Caribbean issues; promote the exchange of teaching materials in the social sciences; to collaborate with national university institutions and with similar educational and research institutions in the region in order to promote cooperation in the field of their own
