Recognized as a public utility, the Gabriel Péri Foundation was created in 2004 on the initiative of the French Communist Party. Its purpose is to participate in the understanding, dissemination and appropriation of the intellectual and practical heritage accumulated in France and in the world by social and political struggles, and by the movement of ideas.
