The fiph deals with central problems of the present and relates them to basic philosophical questions. The focus is on ethical questions. The research topics are developed from multiple perspectives and proposals for solutions are developed that are based on responsibility for justice. Research at the fiph is interdisciplinary and sees itself as a contribution to philosophical orientation and communication processes. The research program starts with people in their specific contexts of experience. For this reason, the complex, often broken cultural and religious traditions are taken into account in research, which influence these relationships both positively and negatively. The ethical standard of work is the inviolability of human dignity.
