The purpose of FIPE is to: contribute to the debate on economic and social problems in Brazil; expand economic knowledge; help design more efficient public and private contracts; support the formulation economic policies and other public policies aimed at increasing well-being; and strengthening Brazil´s competitiveness while working towards a better distribution of income and elimination of poverty
