Fundación Galiza Sempre was set up in 1999, promoted by the Bloque Nacionalista Galego. It is part of Centre Maurits Coppieters, a European political foundation; the World Network for the Collective Rights of Peoples; and the International Archives Council. The foundation has two priority actions: one, aimed at promoting the socio-economic, political and cultural thought of Galicia, and another dedicated to the preservation and dissemination of the historical memory of Galicia and specifically of Galician nationalism.
