Global Climate Adaptation Partnership
Oxford, United Kingdom

The Global Climate Change Adaptation Partnership (GCAP) is an international company that develops robust, flexible solutions aligned with the unique institutional requirements of their clients, from national planning to local operations. Their distinctive approach combines in-depth knowledge and access to vast amounts of data-from climate to vulnerability, impacts and adaptation options-with strong operational and planning insights. In order to lead the industry and remain on the knowledge front, GCAP must have access to the most up-to-date relevant information and have the capacity, skill-set and partnership networks to deliver these solutions. As such, GCAP has developed the Adaptation Space and the Adaptation Academy to meet this growing need. GCAP’s Adaptation Space is an information space where GCAP and its partners can create and distribute information. The information managed in the Adaptation Space is then accessible to the Adaptation Academy and consulting services, as well as other Knowledge Partners. The Adaptation Academy, using the knowledge generated in the Adaptation Space, is able to provide superior, up-to-date training. The Adaptation Academy increases the capacity of GCAP’s Knowledge Partners, Clients and staff to advance and work in the climate adaptation field by providing practical adaptation solutions.
