The Hillary Clinton Center for Women’s Empowerment has a contemporary focus combined with an awareness of historical forces that shape current gender discourses in North Africa. It is a center for grassroots outreach and interdisciplinary scholarship on gender and women's rights issues. HCC has a program of distinguished guest speakers, scholars-in-residence, trainings, conferences and campus and community outreach activities. HCC is at the forefront of gender studies scholarship in Morocco and promotes gender research and study throughout North Africa.
