The Hong Kong Federation of Women's Centres (HKFWC), founded in 1981, is a non-partisan and non-religious women's organization that aims to promote gender equality and let women break through the traditional social norms. HKFWC is concerned about the situation of grassroots women and promote gender equality in Hong Kong through the provision of services, education and gender empowerment activities. The organization was able to establish volunteer networks and provide appropriate services for women to develop women’s confidence, independence, and competence.
